South Manchester Cat Sitter

Cat Sitting in Whalley Range

Whalley Range was laid out as one of Manchester's first garden suburbs, and it still shows — broad, leafy avenues, grand Victorian villas divided into characterful flats, and Alexandra Park anchoring the neighbourhood with its lake and old trees. It's a diverse, easy-going corner of the city where cats lounge in tall bay windows watching the world, and where Wendy is glad to keep an eye on them while their people are away.

Wendy covers Whalley Range from the avenues around Alexandra Park across to the Chorlton border and up towards the Moss Side edge of the neighbourhood. The big Victorian conversions here mean she's well practised with shared hallways, flights of stairs, and the particular knack of stopping an ambitious cat slipping past her onto the landing.

Many Whalley Range cats are indoor cats by necessity — flat living and busy roads make it the sensible choice — and indoor cats feel any disruption to their world keenly. A visit-based routine keeps that world intact: meals on schedule, a spotless tray, and a good session with the fishing-rod toy to burn off the energy a window seat can't.

Trust is the whole job, and Wendy takes it seriously: she is fully insured, DBS checked, and trained in cat first aid. A 30-minute visit is £16 for up to three cats, she collects keys at no charge before your trip, and every visit ends with a photo sent straight to you.
